Attorney Ritter received her undergraduate education at the University of Kansas (2001) and her law degree from Washburn University School of Law (J.D. 2004). While at Washburn, she spent a semester abroad in Limerick, Ireland and a summer at Kings College in London, England. In law school, she was Vice-Magister of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, President of the Criminal Justice Legal Society, and a member of the International Legal Society, and she participated in the Washburn Law Clinic. She also completed a Master of Laws (2005) at the University of Westminster School of Law in London. She subsequently spent five years living and working in England in various positions including Client Relationship Executive at Bird & Bird for Lenovo Computers, Europe, Middle East, and Africa, and Client Adviser & Training Coordinator at the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).
She is currently a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Litchfield County Bar Association, and the Danbury Bar Association.
Attorney Ritter is admitted to practice in Connecticut (2014).
